Software Developer

• Permanent, full-time (part-time considered)
• Remote working, UK West Midlands / South West preferred.

SMK Digital is a software development team mainly consisting of developers working remotely but based in the Worcestershire and Gloucestershire area of the UK. We are providing development services to a couple of exciting start up companies as well as working on our own projects.

We are looking for additional software developers to join us.

Our mainstay technologies are .NET and Angular applications deployed to Kubernetes, Flutter mobile applications and some Web Assembly and RUST. However, whatever your background, if you have quality software engineering competencies and are good at learning new things then we would like to speak with you.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience working as a software developer within the context of formal project management processes.
• An appreciation for modern DevOps, CI/CD processes.
• A keen interest in current developments in software development
• Good home working environment with availability of fast broadband

Preferred

• Experience with .NET 5+ and JavaScript frameworks.
• Confidence at the Linux command line
• Good, up to date, awareness of security

Nice to have

• Cloud computing competencies including Kubernetes
• Mobile Application development
